Website includes info about where abstract art came from, many people believe the 'birth of abstract' began between 1910 and 1920, however abstract art evolved thousands of years before. Here is a paragraph from website to include in presentation: ''In a sense, abstract art has been with us from the beginning. Many kinds of art, from cave paintings to the present, reveal abstract tendencies. If you look closely at almost any painting, you'll find parts that are abstract - perhaps patches of color or loose brushwork which looks like a recognizable object from a distance but dissolves into a blur of shapes when you get close to the work.''
