We will be including a title page, introduction and a page on each of the artists we have chosen, does that sound good? We need 6 - 8 slides altogether, so I need ideas!

Presentation
Because its half term and we are not back till the day of our presentation, I will make a start on the power point and we can look over it on Wednesday morning, but if anyone really wants to do it just let me know, I will need to some ideas on what to include in each slide and I will take print screen shots as I go along,

Hi guys i'll look at Paul Klee
Paul Klee is a German artist most notably know for his stick drawings, floating fish, moon faces, eyes, arrows and coloured quilts which he oftem makes into childlike thoughtful pieces. Born in 1879 near Bern in Switzerland he was the son of a music teacher. He began his training as a painter in 1898 in Munich for three years studying drawing. In 1911 he became part of the German Expressionist group called Drr Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) founded by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc. Klee and Kandanski became lifelong friends and Kandanski was very supportive as previously Klee had worked alone. Klee at the time was experimenting with various styles such as caricatures and focused on symbolistic drawing. He later began producing smaller works mainly in black and white.

How did abstract art begin?
Abstract art, also known as modern art, is all about expression and interpretation. It is not a type of art form that people are very ambivalent about – it’s either they love it or they hate it. Oil painting reproduction is one great way to own a colourful, expressive, and original abstract art.
Cubism was an ultra-modern movement pioneered by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso around 1907. Real objects and subjects were disassembled and reassembled from several different angles, into an abstracted form. The dissection of the subject and putting the dissected parts together is one of the most notable characteristics of Cubism. The end result or the output with different edges makes this art form really abstract.
Neoplasticism, another abstract form, was a Dutch movement in 1910. This art form was based on the principle that art should not be a reproduction of a real object, but the expression and impression of the completeness of life. This modern art form followed the premise that an artist should be able to create using only colors and lines instead of realistic subjects. It simplified subjects to horizontal and vertical directions and utilized only primary colors, along with white and black.
Abstract Expressionism appeared at the end of World War II, being presented as an American art movement. With this form of modern art, the artist rapidly applies paint to a large canvas, either by using a brush or by throwing the paint at the large canvas. What appeared totally random or an accident was actually very well planned. This form of modern art is depicted by a core belief in the freedom of expression and a spirit of revolt.
Today, artists continuously create uniquely beautiful works of abstract art. This art does not always appeal or seem interesting to all art lovers. While some require the real objects to be portrayed in virtually photographic details to enjoy it, there are also some who completely enjoy the spontaneous, impulsive, and emotional expression revealed in abstract art.

He is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work. Among most famous Pablo Picasso paintings are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and Guernica (1937), his portrayal of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.

Kandinsky taught the basic design class for beginners and the course on advanced theory at the Bauhaus; he also conducted painting classes and a workshop in which he augmented his colour theory with new elements of form psychology. The development of his works on forms study, particularly on points and line forms, led to the publication of his second theoretical book (Point and Line to Plane) in 1926. Geometrical elements took on increasing importance in both his teaching and painting—particularly the circle, half-circle, the angle, straight lines and curves. This period was intensely productive. This freedom is characterised in his works by the treatment of planes rich in colours and gradations—as inYellow – red – blue (1925), where Kandinsky illustrates his distance from the constructivism and suprematism movements influential at the time.
